Who we are
TrackStack Labs LLC ("TrackStack," "we," "us") operates GridSync, including this schedule and its organizer tools. This notice describes the information GridSync handles.
What happens when you open GridSync
- Hosting. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., receives your IP address, browser and device information, and the addresses of the pages you request each time your browser connects. Cloudflare uses this information to deliver GridSync and protect it from attacks, and it keeps its own logs under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Cloudflare's security tools may show us the IP address of a request they block or challenge.
- Page-view statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It gives us totals such as page views, visits, referring sites, countries, device types, browsers, and page load times. It does not give us your IP address. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or browser storage to collect these statistics and does not fingerprint visitors.
- Information kept in your browser. GridSync stores your run group and view choices, and a record of the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice versions you accepted with the time and a random code, in your browser's local storage. On an organizer's device it also stores the unpublished schedule draft and, if chosen, a remembered organizer sign-in. This information stays on your device. GridSync does not send it to us.
- Organizer access. If you are a club official with organizer access, the club gives us your name and email address so we can set up your access and training.
- Messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write.
What GridSync does not collect
GridSync does not ask participants for names, car numbers, contact information, or registration details. It does not capture photos, video, audio, transponder data, or timing and scoring data. GridSync itself does not set cookies. Cloudflare may set a security cookie when it checks for automated traffic.
How we use information
We use the information described above to deliver, secure, and fix GridSync, to count usage and give the club aggregate usage reports, to improve GridSync and develop other products and services, to build and test software, analytics, and models, and to publish aggregate statistics that may name an event and its organizer but do not identify you. We may combine aggregate statistics from different events.
Sharing
Cloudflare processes information for us as described above. We may also share information with our advisors, investors, lenders, and potential acquirers under confidentiality obligations, with a successor in a merger or sale of our business, and when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Retention
Aggregate statistics do not identify you, and we keep them as long as they are useful to us. Information in your browser stays until you clear it. We keep an organizer's name and email address while that person has organizer access and delete them afterward unless we need them for a business record. We keep emails as long as we need them to respond and to keep business records. Cloudflare keeps its own logs for the periods its policies set.
Your choices
You can delete GridSync's information from your browser by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. GridSync will then ask you to accept the Terms of Use again. GridSync does not track you across other websites, so it does not change how it works when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Your requests
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. GridSync does not collect participants' names or contact details, so we may not be able to find records that relate to you, and we will tell you if we cannot. We respond within 45 days.
Children
GridSync is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure.
Changes
We will post each change with a new version number and date. If a change is material, GridSync will ask you to review it before you continue.
